Mondays Are Important
Mondays are the most disliked day of the week. After a fun weekend, free of all things work-related, a Monday can creep right upon you with a rude awakening.
As the clock strikes midnight on Sunday, it is officially game over. Your weekend of an empty inbox instantly turns full, which leaves you 100+ emails deep and in a slump.
In due time it became apparent that Mondays are not just another day of the week. They have the almighty power to set the tone for the ones to follow.
Realizing this turned the tables and allowed me to take charge.
Sunday night, I compile a thorough to-do list that I base my day on. For myself, I take getting out of bed and making it as a task that instantly brightens my mood. My next step usually consists of drinking a glass of water while brewing a fresh cup of coffee.
Once I feed into my coffee addiction, then do I start to check off the more technical items on my list.
This simple technique has been indeed life-changing and has completely shifted my Monday morning blues to positive energy.
