Everything Happens For A Reason
There are days that I want to throw my computer across the room and completely give up on this so-called job search. As much as I have learned about myself over the past few months while trying to gain that employed status, boy am I frustrated.
The waves of aggravation usually arrive when I check LinkedIn and see that my colleagues are getting jobs upon jobs. On top of it all, some of these positions are ones I have interviewed for.
Now, that is when it hits hard. I start to think about what I could have done differently? Is there something I could be missing? Am I not smart enough? What did I do wrong?
As these questions run through my head for 30 minutes or so, I soon realize it's all okay. This slight bump in the road is all a part of the process of figuring out my career path and reaching my end goal. Everything happens for a reason.
